And I’m terrified. I’m scared about being under general anaesthetic since i’ve never experienced that before but honestly I’m more scared about having someone look at my genitals. I’m 22 and I’ve never been examined before so this is my first time having someone other than my partner down there, and it’s a 30 minute procedure and I’ll be asleep during but even the thought of it being on view for that length of time and having to be awake during prep. I know I’ve definitely got a cyst or something like I can see it, so I know after tomorrow It’ll probably be a string of invasive appointments and another procedure.

I know it’s their job and they have seen everything but knowing that doesn’t seem to help me. I’ve been feeling ill all weekend due to anxiety this procedure is causing me. If someone has advice how to relax I’m open to any pointers 😣
