How much spotting is too much spotting?

I started last week, mostly right after sex. Dr says it’s normal. But I haven’t had sex since Thursday and have had light spotting since yesterday morning. Sometimes bright red, sometimes brown. Friday night some cramping. I’m 36 and trying to stay calm, but I am afraid . I don’t know if I could take it if something happened to my baby.

Some women have a full period while pregnant. Your spotting sounds light and normal. All you can do this early on is try to stay calm. If something is wrong as this point there isn’t anything that can be done anyway so relax and try to keep positive.

If the bleeding gets heavy or is accompanied with period like cramps then it's time to worry. Yours sounds normal just watch for heaviness
