I went for a smear test a couple of months ago and I cannot fathom why it hurt so much. The nurse couldn’t actually do it because I was in that much pain. I’ve been reading blogs and things online and it says it shouldn’t hurt (really). I’ve never been able to wear tampons either due to it being extremely painful and I’ve had really painful ultrasound scans as well. I’ve been under investigation for years now due to extremely heavy periods and extremely painful periods as well and tbh I have this feeling that something is not right but no one (doctors) will tell me or at least try to help. If anyone else has had similar experiences it would really help if you could give some advice to a girl who’s struggling. Thank u
