Best formula for fussiness, tummy aches, gas pain?

My little 5 week old stays up half the night grunting and farting. He also just seems so unhappy during the day. We’re currently using similac pro advance but he was this way when I breastfed as well.

Gentle ease is supposed to help with all of that. I had to switch mine to gentle ease but it seems that the powder form of both formulas were bothering her. I thought she had colic so i switched her back to liquid formula like in the hospital, but liquid gentle ease instead of regular, and she's much better now. Also 5 weeks.

Sam's club gentle. Try switching bottles too. Gripe water and gas drops can help too. If all else fails use the Windi.

Maybe try probiotics. I only used them with my 3rd and she was my only one that didn't have any tummy problems. I put it in every morning bottle from 3 weeks old when I started formula feeding. May not be the answer but it might be worth a shot. I used earth's best formula. It looked the closest to breastmilk to me. It was thin and didn't foam up like other formulas do.

Smililac Pro Sensitive. We were having the same issues when my son started on formula. He used pro sensitive until 10 months old and never had any problems. ☺️
