You didn’t have sex any days prior to 8 days ago? Sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions so if you ovulated 11 days ago and you had sex any time (within 5 days) before 11 days ago, you could have conceived from that.
Does that make sense at all?

If your period is irregular its highly likely that you ovulated early and maybe possible you were already pregnant the last time you had sex. It's highly unlikely to get a false positive that is THAT positive. Its more likely to get a false negative. I would take another test if it's the same call your doc, cause your eggo is preggo.

You can become pregnant within a day of ovulating... Sperm that's already waiting can get to the tubes and an egg within 6hrs. So technically if you had sex 8 days ago and ovulated right around that time as well, and the sperm were there when you ovulated, the egg could have been fertilized within 6 to 8 hours so you could get a positive yes. You can get a positive as early as 7 to 10 days after you ovulate, so if that happened from that one time it's possible to get a positive at 8 days. It is super early though, I'd definitely keep testing to be sure it's a true positive.
I only had sex the day before I ovulated which was. Ovulated 10 days before my positive, sex 11 days before. So it's basically the same thing just J Juice AZ . Which is possible as early as 7 days. Hopefully this makes sense lol. If you had sex and ovulated 8 days ago then you could of conceived the day after you ovulated like 7 days ago.
