My lo woke up like usual to nurse around 1am and again at 3. I burp her then she goes right back to sleep. I woke up a little after 4 because she was making a weird sound/ crying a little. When I brought her out to the living room and turned a light on she had clear mucus/ thick saliva? All over her face and had bubbles coming out of her mouth. She was having a hard time breathing and would scream then make gurgling noises. I flipped her over and started patting her back and she had a string of whatever it was coming out of her mouth. By this time I was yelling for my husband to wake up because I’m freaking out. He came out and took her and started patting her back while I used the bulb suction to help her. Once it seemed to stop we cleaned her up and my husband laid her on his chest while he was sitting. She feel asleep for about 30 minutes then woke up to nurse. We put her in her swing to sleep so she wasn’t flat and she slept from 5:30 to 9 and is back asleep again. I’m scatting death that it’s going to happen again tonight. I couldn’t sleep well because I kept putting my hand on her chest to make sure she was ok. That was the scariest moment as a mom 😩
