Kissing babies

Kyla

My husband and I set a rule that we do not want anybody kissing our baby, which shouldn’t be too much to ask for. We told nobody our rule at first because we thought that it was pretty much common sense. Well we see my husbands mother kissing on my son so we kindly tel her about the rule and explain that it could make the baby sick. She then says “Well I’m not sick and it’s not the time of year for babies to get sick” & she continues to kiss on him. I say nothing waiting on my husband to say something, but he never does. She then proceeds to tell my one year old little niece “come kiss the baby” and allows her to slobber all over him. My husband and I talked later that evening and I said that I no longer want my child around them until rsv season comes to and end and our son has built up his immune system some, he seems to disagree with my decision. What would you do in this circumstance??
