How much colostrum should I be pumping?

I got th go ahead to start pumping today and I've just done about 2 1/2mls with both boobs. Is this a good amount or should I be making more?
Also will I run out of colostrum before baby arrives or will I keep making it until they come?

You’ll keep making colostrum baby’s sucking will signal what they need. And anywhere from none to a lot is normal for before delivery so don’t fret. I have breastfed my three previous kids a total of five years together and I’m almost 39 weeks, I can only get a few drops out from expressing. You’re doing great.

You will probably get a little bit at a time... and no you wont run out. I don't think it changes to milk until you actually have the baby 😁  mine was always the same color so I didn't really notice the change to milk until my boobs were engorged and full.

Curious if you’re going natural or having c section? I don’t see my ob until Thursday but was going to ask if I can express colostrum with my haaka since I’ll be getting tubes tied day after delivery. Are you getting syringes?
