I offer no advice about the clear blue digital ovulation but know your struggle. I stopped taking ovulation test because I would get a couple positives a month and still not ovulate.

I was told by my fertility specialist not to use the clear blue advanced tests if you have PCOS because they can be inaccurate. Instead, we should be using the regular clear blue tests that simply detect a surge or no surge. I as well, when I used the advanced had multiple days of the flashing smiley. When I switched to the other version, it only showed the smiley face the 2 days I actually ovulated(confirmed by ultrasound and lab work 7 days later). Hope this helps!
