recently i finished a pack of birth control pills. i normally skip my period so i’m still taking active pills right after running out. my mom has not had time to pick up my new pack from the pharmacy, so i’ve been taking her pills out of one of her old packs. they’re probably one or two months old. i’ve been taking hers for the past 3 days. am i still protected? im pretty sure the pills have been working because i haven’t felt any cramps or had any breakthrough bleeding, which what happens when i don’t take a pill at all. this means they’re working, right? i’m picking up my new pack tomorrow so i will be back on schedule :) im just a little worried because i had sex today (day 3 of mom’s pills), and even though he pulled out every time, i want to make sure i can’t be pregnant. technically i’ve never missed a pill, at all. but i just want to make sure my mom’s pills have the same effectiveness as mine. they are the same brand and dosage. and i made sure to take the exact day in the pack for the past 3 days. help please! thanks girls :)
