How many embryos did you transfer?

Hey ladies. Did you transfer 1,2, or 3 embryos. I want to do 2 because I feel it will be more successful and save money.

We only transferred 1. We did a fresh transfer and I kept thinking we should transfer 2... just Incase. Transferred 1 five day and we are currently pregnant.

Transferred 1 for the 1st 3 times.my doctor suggests 1 bcoz im obese so at a high risk if i have twins.  Now transferring 2 bcoz its the 4th transfer and im kind of tired of this.

I did 2 this transfer. My fresh we did one, I miscarried, my first FET failed. Currently waiting for my ultrasound to see if both stuck.

I only had one make it to day 5 blast, so that pretty much made the decision for me, but even if I had more than one, I would have only transfered one at a time. I really want to carry a healthy baby to full term. Twin pregnancies come with so many risks. They are often born premature. Plus you can keep the second one on ice and hope for another baby later.

It’s more dangerous for you and baby to do more than one. So unless you are older, have lower quality embryos, or a history of miscarriage or failed transfers, it’s always better to do one. Doesn’t save money when you or your babies are high risk and need more medical care in the long run. Your doc should be able to help with the best decision for you.
