No. And there’s plenty of reasons you shouldn’t wear outdoor footwear inside. These reasons include potential to bring in: E Coli, fecal bacteria (93% of shoes you’ve worn outdoors for over a month have poop on the bottom), bacteria strains that can cause UTI’s, respiratory illnesses, diarrhea, etc, and also things like mold and pollen, as well as pesticides from your lawn.

I put my baby on the ground outside, so I'm not sure why what you wear in the house is such a big deal with regards to baby. I totally get why people take off shoes just to keep the house clean generally! I just don't relate that to baby specifically.

To me it’s so weird that people will wear shoes inside their house. I don’t wear shoes in my hohse and I sweep the floor everyday. Baby goes on the floor, usually on a blanket at my house.. or at my parents or my inlaws because I know their floors are clean. Otherwise baby doesn’t lay on the floor. It’s gross to me.

We have a tray by our front door and shoes go there, especially now that our house is 100% hardwood/tile. Before when we lived in an apartment with all carpet, we weren't as diligent about it. But now I even make guests take their shoes off at the door 😂

It depends on the type of shoe. Definitely guilty if wearing my flip flops around the house in the summer. But otherwise, shoes generally come off at the door.
