Pregnant maybe... testing to early?

Question

So I had unprotected sex the 14 and we were pretty drunk, then 4 days later I got my period which came a whole week early and lasted 4 days. For 2 days now I have been cramping and it annoying... I took a pregnancy test and it seems to appear negative. So did I test early maybe? Any advice?! I do know it’s my fertile week and maybe That’s why I’m cramping...
