My boyfriend sent me this. He says these welts are itchy and all all over his armpits and groin. Any ideas what it could be?

Where do y’all love? Like was he anywhere that had tall grass? Those definitely look like chigger bites. I’m from the south and I get them every summer. They like to get into the moist and warm areas like your groin, knee pits, arm pits, etc. they itch sooo bad and they welt up exactly like that.

It looks like a reaction to something. I get them under my armpits because I’m allergic to every deodorant I use, including deodorant that isn’t scented and for sensitive skin.
