What is a VBAC like?

My first birth was a c-section due to my son’s heart rate dropping. I made it to 6cm dilated. Now I’m currently trying TTC and weighing different options. My doctor says I am a good candidate for VBAC.

My question is for those who have had a successful vbac as their second birth, what was it like? You always hear stories of how the second labor was easier in some ways bc your body has done it before, but what about for women who had a c-section for their first birth? Have you experienced labor more like a first time mom?
