Am I being to harsh

So here’s a back story... I have been talking to this guy for a short period and went on two dates.

I have just got out of a relationship that ended very nicely and my ex is insisting on being friends and I have told him I’m not ready as it won’t be fair. When he found out I was going on a date he got a little jealous. But I told the guy I was on a date with that I don’t want to rush into anything as I don’t want him to be a rebound. The two dates we had were nice as he didn’t try and kiss me on the first was nice and respectful.

So now see the exchange with the new guy and tell me if I’m wrong for locking him off and if I’m judging to harshly.

Regarding the bit where he said “you’re still in love with him” he asked me if I loved him and I told him yes feelings don’t go away so quickly but I wouldn’t go back to a place I saw no future security.
