Ultrasound

I met with the nurse yesterday for consultation and bloodwork. The nurse said they only do one ultrasound for the gender, because most insurances only cover one unless theres a medical reason for more. I was bummed about this and was looking forward to getting the first ultrasound when I meet with my doctor appt on September 26. I called my insurance and they said theres no limit, but the health insurance does need to provide preapproval. Did anyone else get told their doctor only does one ultrasound? I'm just antsy and can't wait to see my baby!
