Looking for a botanical name for a boy

My daughter has "rose" in her name and she was gifted a beautiful rose bush for her christening. The thought is we keep it healthy and growing so she can take it with her when she leaves home.

I'm considering keeping the flower/plant theme going with my son with the thought of him also having a plant or flower gifted.

Can be first name or middle name.
