giggles, but only when asleep??

i get plenty of smiles when my little guy is awake, but no giggles yet
however i have heard and seen him smile and giggle in his sleep (which omg is the most adorable thing ever!!!)
anyone else experienced this?? anyone’s babies laughing when awake?

Yes mine is 8 weeks and he laughs and smiles up a storm sometimes lol it’s the cutest thing

They say giggling happens later. With my older son, he giggled around 14weeks. This one sorta gasp/coos when he smiles so he may be sooner. Impatient for this milestone, baby giggles are the best!!

My baby will smile and make these “ah ah” sounds when she is asleep so it looks like she’s laughing.
