Have any of you not been able to get an IUD due to your cervix being too small and closed? Today was my third (and final) attempt at getting this done. I’ve literally never felt pain so bad in my life. The doctor said it hurt so much worse because my cervix is too small and closed up for the IUD to fit properly. We tried doing it during my period and she gave me pills to take last night and it still wasn’t enough.

I want a non-hormonal birth control but I can’t keep going through this. It just hurts so badly and then it’s immediately removed because it’s not in the right place.

Any advice is helpful.
