Do I need to wake baby up every 3 hours to eat after they are already past birth weight?

So my baby has been asleep 4 hours now and doesn’t seem interested in eating. Should I let him keep sleeping or wake him up? He’s 2 weeks and already a pound above his birth weight

My son is below his birth weight (by a pound) told me to feed every three hours (formula) once he’s above his birth weight then feed on demand or by the 4/5 hour mark is okay

My doctor never told me to wake them up even if they were under their birth weight, he just said keep feeding on demand. My daughter is now a pound above her birth weight too and he said to keep feeding on demand. I breastfeed so she wakes up every 2-4 hours

Both my kids Dr. said to wake every 2 hours until back up to birth weight, then let them sleep when they will. But I'd ask your pediatrician just to be sure.
