Whats a good car that saves $20 a week on gas?

My Elantra is really good on gas. I fill it every week but it's only ever half full when I fill it so I could probably go about 2.5 weeks if I drive to empty.

My 2005 Toyota Corolla LE is AMAZING on gas. I have 13 gal tank and if I drive everyday (20-40mi a day) on the street I fill up every 2 weeks. On the highway 2 1/2 weeks. I recently used my car to move(usa) myself from one end of the country to the other over 3,000 miles and I made excellent time with minimal gas fill ups. I got through like 2 of the wider states before I had to fill up my tank. It also has timing chains instead of timing belts so that's 1 less maintenance issue to worry about. (Normal cars timing belts need to be changed every 2 years) hope this helps!

the cost of the car is gonna depend on the year it was manufactured. for gas mileage, Hondas are really really good. I have a 2018 CRV and get ~27mpg, you could get a significantly older one for a good price and comparable mileage. my last car was an '02 Ford Excursion that got 8-9mpg and the gas money I've saved has been amazing
