When should I wash/sterilize bottles?

I'm 35 weeks and want to be prepared but don't want them to sit too long, if that's even a thing lol.

You have to  Sterilise bottles every 24 hrs if you haven’t used them in that time then you need to sterilise again.

When we got out of hospital they gave us a few days of liquid formula bottles with the disposable nipples. So when I got home I popped my bottles in the Dishwasher and 2 days later started using my own bottles. You can also sign up for samples of them, or buy a few days worth on amazon while your milk comes in if you plan on breast feeding or just so that you can focus your time on setting things up, getting last minute stuff, catching as much sleep as possible, and getting used to a schedule and not have to worry about the feeds.

Now is a good time. I wanted my baby shower and everything done 2-2.5 months in advanced which everyone kept telling me was a ridiculous amount of time, but I just couldn’t shake the feeling “what if he comes early”. I ended up being induced at 37 weeks and was on bed rest my last week of pregnancy due to IUGR. Being as prepared as possible was seriously the BEST decision ever. I would sterilize, wash and dry the bottles, then cap them and put them in a container (like a clear storage container) for the remaining weeks so that no dust gets on them. Congratulations on your little one, hope your labor is a breeze!!
