Any bite resistant pacifier for 3 year old?

Hi moms ! I want your suggestions on the bite resistant pacifiers out there. As my 2 year and nine month boy is biting his avent pacifiers lately and I have to buy him 4 new pacifiers every other month.

Why not just take it away?

At that age, I would just take them away and be done. Give him something else to chew on that are designed for older children who need that sensory input.

It’s best to just take it away. At almost 3, their bite is too strong for a pacifier. I don’t know of any other alternative though

We just took our 2.5 year old's pacifiers away. It was WAY easier than I thought it would be, and he was a serious paci addict!!! If he's biting through them that's a choking hazard... is there a reason you're looking to replace the pacifiers as opposed to weaning him off or taking them away cold turkey?

Time for it to go! Have the pacifier fairy come get it from under his pillow and trade it for a little something. Or if you know someone having a baby have him give it to the baby

Once they begin chewing on them, its time to take them away. It becomes a choking hazard and if you wait much longer it'll be even harder to get rid of it, speaking from experience. My son was a little over 3 when i finally took his and it took me weeks of fits and crying before he was okay without it, despite having other things to take its place (he carried around a baby blanket and a special sippy cup lol). There are ways to integrate him into saying "bye-bye" to it to make it easier. But i would definitely consider throwing it out, as far as i know they don't make toddler proof pacifiers. Lol

Definitely should take it away. I took my daughter's away the moment her teeth started to come in. If she needed something in her mouth she got a teething ring instead.

Time to go cold turkey with the pacifier. Even if you really didn’t want too , it’s now become a choking hazard and your not going to find any made for chewing.
