Missed period

I have a question???

I've been on BC pills for about 5 years. I recently started a new one two months ago. I had my first period on the new pill last month which I was on for 7 days!! This month I was suppose to have a period around the same time but... I only had cramps and spotted for 2 days, I didn't really have a period. Is that normal ?
