So my husband is in the army and our daughters 1st birthday is next month and I just found out he’s getting sent to a 3 week school to become a Sargent. Which dont get me wrong that’s great... but he’s getting out next year so he won’t be a sgt for very long and I am upset that he will miss her birthday but I just want to bitch about it because THAT SUCKS. I can’t seem to talk to anyone about it without them telling me that I should be grateful that he’s going because it’s good or all the army wives that are “well my husband missed this, this and that” like I get it. And that must have been hard for you. But i just want to be able to complain and be upset about it without being told I’m wrong to be sad about this.
