Pregnancy test for twins?

If you get pregnant with twins do you get a strong positive? Or does it not affect the HCG levels that much? Just wondering

With a hpt no, it just registers if hcg is present, yes or no. 
But with blood work, yes. 
If your numbers are super high and you’re only a few weeks, it could indicate more than one. But you really don’t know until it’s confirmed with a ultrasound. Not always, but sometimes it happens. 
from experience, mine were in the thousands a week after implantation should of only been hundred. Not sure on twins tho, mine were 6, then dropped to 4.

the only actual way to know if its twins is an ultrasound. my hcg was high but it was higher in a singleton pregnancy than my twin pregnancy
