hey guys! I’m 17 and a senior in high school. while college is a year away, it’s coming sooner than i’d like to believe. i attend an all girls, catholic school in a very urban setting and don’t have as many guy friends and have had one “relationship” (if you wanna call it that). i’ve kinda came to the understanding that i’m not losing my virginity in high school which is kinda frustrating.

sex isn’t something that i’m waiting for in marriage or in a serious relationship. It’s not something i think should be made a big deal out of. however, i don’t wanna lose it to just anyone, someone i trust. i have yet to find that person.

in college, do people care if you’re a virgin? i know it sounds dumb but i’m just afraid guys wouldn’t wanna have sex with me because i’m inexperienced or they find it less attractive. i’m not the most beautiful girl in the world but i don’t think i’m unattractive. it’s so stupid but it’s something that i find hard to talk about.

i remember i was friends with this bro who was a senior in my school when i was a sophomore and she was telling me how she was surprised i was a virgin cos i was “so pretty.” am i doing something wrong? does anyone have any stories or advice they could share?
