What’s the difference between mucus plug and bloody show?

I think I had both at the same time about 24 hrs ago. But I’m definitely not in labor. So frustrating. 40 weeks.

With bloody show it could be a few days but labor Is coming dont worry

I have read that mucus plug is more jelly like clear with red discharge like and doesnt matter when you lose it (doesnt mean labor is near) and bloody show is more dark red and brownish bloody discharge and means labor is closer! I only comment this based on the 20 things I googled yesterday bc I lost my plug two days ago and had bloody show 24 hours ago so I'm waiting to see what happens now too!! 🤞 hope we both have some more labor signs soon

I had my bloody show on Thursday & still nothing 😩 40 weeks today. I have an appt today so hoping to see how close I am lol.
