Night terrors?

Anyone else’s LO wake up screaming randomly? Every night this week (at different times) she’s woke up screaming scared at the top of her lungs. Sometimes she goes back to sleep. Sometimes we have to go comfort her.

Also if I don’t lay her down with a cup of water she wakes up screaming looking for it and won’t go back to sleep and that’s recent too. She’s never been sent to bed with a cup🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughter just went through this and it lasted a month or 2 of her not wanting to sleep alone ( been a great sleeper since she was born) and I think it might be a phase. I asked her doctor and she said night terrors happen at the same time each night and nothing usually calms it until they snap out. But she’s just now getting back to sleeping in her crib all night again. I’d just ask their doctor to see what they think.

Yes. Though with my daughter it doesn't sound like a scared or pain cry more like a tired cry. Like if she could speak it be "No!!! I dont want to be awake!!!"
