Where are my slow responders at? IVF or IUI?
Has anyone started with
but then switched to
mid-cycle? I know it’s still early but Friday I had my ultrasound after 4 days of Gonal F 300 and Menopur 150. I only had 6 follicles and 4/6 were under 7mm and two were almost 13mm. The nurse said it may not be worth going in for ER if I don’t produce more follicles and to think about switching to an
IUI
instead. Anyone else do this? Are there any other slow responders out there that think I can turn this around and have a successful ER?
Update: Day 7 of stims and my second ultrasound and still only two decent sized follicles. 19mm and 16.5mm the rest are all under 6mm. They aren’t happy with the # of follicles or the progress of the rest so we triggered today for an IUI tomorrow instead of pushing for a retrieval. Here’s hoping IUI #3 is the lucky one 🤞
