2am tantrums!!! Help

Almost every other night, my daughter wakes up around 1/2AM and starts crying, screaming and throwing a tantrum. She doesn't want me to hold her but she wants me there with her. She does this for 3hrs almost every night.

In the morning she's fine, like nothing ever happened.

My neighbors were pounding on my wall to quiet her down 😡. I didn't know what to do, we are NEVER able to get her to stop. I was desperate and took her to the ER @ 2am.. we got sent home @ 4:30am with just a bill pretty much. They said nothing was wrong with her. The nurse even kind of laughed as we were leaving telling me to hang in there.

This happens almost every night I don't know what to do any more.
