Is a heating pad ok to put on my stomach?

This may be a silly question but just making sure. I'm 5 weeks

I dont think so because research says to avoid saunas steam rooms and tanning beds because of the heat. I would wait on it

My doc said it was ok. The hot temp. Warnings and being pregnant are about raising your internal temperature. A warm heat pad should not be so hot that it would actually raise your internal temperature.
I've been having bad cramps and back aches, my doc advised using a heat pack is safe.
