Not in these groups??

Why am I sometimes seeing posts from groups that I’m not actually part of? Scrolling through just now I started to see a bunch of things from the rated R group but I verified—I’m not in that group...?

Sometimes they like to advertise for different groups. I believe you can tap on the dots and ask to not see stuff from that group again. The “new” feed definitely is just from the groups you’re in aside from the few times they advertise for other groups.

Because the "New" is just all the recent posts from the entire app not just what you are apart of
