Yup, it goes both ways. I have always had issues with wheat since I was a little kid. My hubs accidentally gave me some of his crackers early on when thats one thing I could actually eat. No reaction like I usually do

Yeeeessss!  Well.  I didn't know til my last pregnancy when I ate a mango and had to go to l&d to stop labor and get the allergy under control! 23 weeks along and I never had an issue before being pregnant then I had a craving for mango and the contractions started and I couldn't breathe!  It was so scary!  I'm afraid to eat or drink anything mango this pregnancy!

I think that’s even without pregnancy. My step dad and entire family are all seafood lovers and a few years back my step dads entire face swole up while eating shrimp. We thought must be the restaurant, continued our seafood loving later during the summer (were in Maryland btw so crabs..) and he swole up lips got tingly throat closed. We ended up in the hospital and he had allergy testing done later.. turns out he’s allergic to shell fish! Happened in his 40’s .
