How many cesarean sections can a woman have safely?

I've had five cesarean sections. Is there a huge risk in having more children?

That’s a question for your doctor. I’ve heard it always depends on how you feel. 
My SIL after her second her doc said she should only have one more. Then after she had her third they said they thought she could do one more if she wanted. 
She didn’t want anymore so she stopped at 3 but she had the option if she wanted it.

I've been pregnant 7 times but I lost 1 so I've had 6 csections

If I've had five cesarean sections and at my last perinatologist appointment he teased me by saying see you next time. I just worry about it causing secondary infertility or hindering my ability to concieve. My OB is happy with my healing. I think I just feel better hearing actual women talk to me about their experience. I suffered a loss and am really lonely. My heart is broken and waiting on my rainbow.

Your chances of placenta accreta/percreta, hysterectomy, placenta previa, needing a blood transfusion, serious scar tissue adhesions, etc go up significantly after 4 c sections. For me it isn’t worth the risk, but everybody is different.
