Update: Water breaking?

How do you really know? Lol I’m a second time mom but had a c-section @ 39 weeks with my last 9 years ago, my water never broke and I never knew I was having contractions.

I’m currently 38+3. Earlier I Had been woken up with an intense feeling in my stomach and my stomach was really hard and I felt almost like I needed to use the restroom. I waited for the feeling to stop, then went and peed. I went back and sat on my bed for 5 or so minutes and then decided to lay back down. As soon as I laid back down I got that feeling again, and then a gush of fluid came out, I waited for a second to decide what to make of it and then more liquid came out, I woke up my husband and then went to the restroom and my shorts were soaked and had about a nickel or quarter size of some blood. Skip to the part where I go to pee again(about 30 min later and there was blood in the toilet. So confused! Lol
