How long were you in the hospital for/after birth?

Just wondering about what the average is! Google says 24-48. I know it varies between each woman and how each birth goes but I’m just curious!
This is total time in the hospital. From the time you got there labor, delivery and post delivery.

With my first, one week. With my second, 2 days.

There’s no 48+ option but yea I was in Tuesday at noon and didn’t leave till Saturday at 10 am

I went in on a Monday late afternoon, had my baby at 9:30pm, didn’t get settled into a room until technically Tuesday morning (it was like 1am) I was due to be in the hospital until Thursday, but I signed us out on weds afternoon because everything was good and I was honestly ready to go home.

With my second I was Induced at 8 am by 4:58pm that afternoon lil one was born and I was sent home 2 hours later. 
With my first I went in on a Saturday at 12 noon had her at 8:18 Sunday morning and was sent home at 6pm that night. I would of been able to go at 12 noon but I had to wait for neurologist and doctors to check me over due to my epilepsy

i was admitted on a sunday and didn’t leave until thursday afternoon, although i was in labor for over 20 hours

So I believe it’s different all over the world. Had a Uk mom tell me that she was only in the hospital a couple hours after birth. From what I understand in the USA, you stay 48 hours for vaginal birth and 72 for csection. As long as no other problems arise. At least at my hospital it’s takes them that long to do all the proper tests on baby.

My first I was there for 24 hours. 
My second got shipped to a nicu so I discharged myself at 4 hours after she was born. I was up and walking and doing things as normal as they would expect so they said I was okay to leave to be with my daughter that was almost 2hours away
