Cycle after stopping breastfeeding??

Stopped breastfeeding when my daughter turned 8 months (due to an allergic reaction and needing medication) she is now 9 months and I had 2 irregular periods 19 days apart within the same month  but now I'm on cd 35! pregnancy test is negative... What could be going on? Anyone experience this?

It can take a while for your period to regulate especially if you were breastfeeding.

It can take a while. Also, your period will likely go back to the way it was before you got pregnant. If you had an irregular cycle prior to getting pregnant (varies >5 days), then it will probably go back to that.
I had a very regular cycle before I had my son. Always 28 days. I could even predict it to the hour. And even then, it took 3-4 months for my cycle to go back to normal.

I’m having the same issue. I stopped breastfeeding at 3 months (feb) and my period didn’t return May and since then it’s longer every month. Today is cd10 I had migraine the whole weekend and I’m cramping. Hopefully I’ll see it today or tomorrow
