Should standing babies be transitioned out of sleep sac?

My 8 month old is standing when I come to get him out of his crib. Should I use the sacs that have open feet? Or just transition out of the sac completely, or is he fine to stay in the sac?

My boy has no problem standing including sack and I know that my SIL also still uses sleeping sacks on her 2 year old.

He’s probably fine. My first was in a regular sleep sack until he was 2. He could do anything in that thing, I have videos of him running in it.

I’ve actually seen them recommended for standing babies until they transition out of the crib since a sleep sack can prevent baby climbing out of the crib.

Mine stayed in a sleep sack all the way through 2 years old. She finally outgrew them!

I did cause I felt like he was more likely to fall he now sleeps with a pillow and duvet instead and he prefers it I didn't have to transition tho just did it

They make sleep sacks with foot holes.  It is usually for older kids, so it might be hard to find one that fits an 8 month old.
Then there is the original sleep sack...fleece footed jammies.  Although the blanket feel of a sleep sack might be a sleep association/comforting for your child.

My girl will be 1 at the end of the month.  She's in a nested bean.  Has no issues tripping. My mom's coworker's child is over 2 or around 2 and she still has the child in a sleep sack. Child is fine. Once my girl gets a break from teething (she has 4 coming in right now) I will start transitioning her out of it. But for now it isn't hurting anyone.

I’ve never used on but I have an 8 month old myself and can’t imagine using a sack on him. I would think it’s a tripping hazard for them. I know the minute mine wakes up he is all about flying up to stand up in his crib.
