7 week appointment today, no sign of fetal pole??

Hi ladies, so I’m very concerned of course. Not how I was expecting the appointment to go. 😢 My doctor did say it could just be too early but she also seemed very cautious. I don’t think she’s optimistic that it’s going to be okay. I do go back in 10 days for another scan. Anyone else’s thoughts? Have this happen before?

Don’t lose hope just yet! I woke to panties full of bright red blood a few weeks ago, cried my eyes out for hours and when they got me in for the emergency US, there he/she was, with a heartbeat, just flickering away. 
No explanation for the bleeding and it had stopped before I got to my appointment. You just never know

I went in for what I thought was an 8 week ultrasound and I was told the sac was empty and measuring at 5 weeks. I go on Friday for another ultrasound. Haven’t had any sign of miscarriage as yet. Doctor was cautious as well at first appointment but seemed more hopeful when I spoke with her today but I’ve prepared myself for the worse to be honest. I know when I ovulated and the 5 weeks just doesn’t make sense but I’ll see what they say on Friday
