Did you lose weight breastfeeding?

Im just curious if its really true if you do lose weight while breastfeeding. I plan to breast feed my 2nd baby who im pregnant with right now. (my first time breastfeeding) and it would be awesome to not only feed my child but to drop some weight as well.

I was 10 lbs lighter than my prepregnancy weight when breastfeeding, I did not exercise and I ate everything in sight.

I lost so much weight breastfeeding my daughter that I ended up weighing less than I did before I got pregnant with her. Then I was struggling to put any weight on while still breastfeeding. Which we breastfed for 2.5yrs and I stopped when I got pregnant with #2; currently due in Jan.

I think it depends on your body. I lost all my baby weight except for 5-7lbs. Anytime I got close to losing those last couple lbs, my supply dipped dramatically... regardless of what I ate.

I gained 22 lbs while pregnant, lost all of it plus 2 pounds by 1.5 weeks PP, and gained it all back by 6 months PP. I can’t say I ate the greatest but I was trying to consume enough calories to make milk since I was struggling as an undersupplier.

I gained about 40lbs during my pregnancy. I lost a lot of weight after giving birth, like within a week. There is 10lbs that will not move. 
I am 4 month postpartum. Breastfeeding makes me really hungry all time ughhh.
