On June 14th I had an anatomy scan at 20 weeks 6 days. July 8th (24 weeks) a doctors appointment where my OB noticed a bright spot on my sons heart,EIF he called it. after reviewing the scans.. Said it was concerning but since the blood work was fine not to worry & that he’ll order another scan at my next appointment. August 7th dr appointment at 28 Weeks he ordered another anatomy scan for August 12th. (29 weeks 6 Days) to focus on his heart.

My next appointment was August 21 (30 weeks) since he told me to start coming in every 2 weeks. I had to reschedule due to running late and car troubles. August 30th was my next appointment now. I go in that day they tell me he’s not in because of surgery and that he’s booked until September 9th so they scheduled me for then. ( 33 weeks) I go in and have to wait an hour before finally they send in his med student.

After wards my Ob comes in. I ask him about the results of the second scan since I’ve been waiting months to hear the results. He forgets he even ordered it and was confused. Then Tells me “oh I’ll go look at that right now” and leaves for another 5 minutes. Comes back and tells me “it went away”. He never has much to say and only checks my babies heart beat. My next appointment is October 3 because he’s full up until then it’s 3 weeks away and I’ll be 37 Weeks by then.

I honestly feel like he doesn’t seem to care he’s not that involved with his patients. And the waiting time to get an appointment when I’m suppose to go in biweekly. Thinking about finding a new OB, we don’t plan on having our son at that hospital anyways.

Would you change doctors? Not sure how to go about it but I just feel like he honestly just doesn’t give a shit. 🤷🏻‍♀️ he forgot he ordered a second anatomy scan to focus on my babies heart, that’s suppose to be important..

I’m due the 26th of October with my first , and these appointments just don’t seem right. He does the bare minimum.
