What should I do?

My 8 week ultrasound is Thursday and I’m nervous. What kinds of questions should I be asking? Will it be abdominal or transvaginal?

This is what Kaiser sent me. I plan on making a list of questions based on some of this stuff. My 1st appt will be at 10 weeks but this will be my 1st baby so idk what's going on. Going crazy waiting cause it's not until sept 23rd!
What to Expect from Your First Prenatal Visit 
Your first prenatal visit will likely be a long one. Your physician or midwife will review with you the medical information you provided at your Prenatal Intake nurse visit.  
The 1st part of your appointment will be with the “mother-to-be” only. We as medical professionals have to protect your right to privacy and abide by the HIPPA privacy act law. Please respect others privacy and plan accordingly for other family members to wait outside in the waiting room. After the physician or midwife is done talking to you and completing any exams such as a pap smear, the medical assistant will get your family member or significant other to join the visit. 
During your visit, you should expect to have the following procedures, tests and exams conducted:  
Screening: blood pressure, weight, current medications, allergies and exercise will be verified. 
Give a urine sample to test for proteins and ketones in the office. We will ask for a urine sample at every prenatal visit to run these important tests. 
Your physician or midwife will review your medical history from your chart, including past clinic visits and lab results. He or she will also review your lab results from the lab tests you are having done this week. Please be sure to discuss the following with your physician or midwife: 
Any gynecological problems you have now or have had in the past (including sexually transmitted infections) 
Chronic conditions and medications used to treat them 
Details about any previous pregnancies 
Drug allergies 
Psychiatric problems 
Past surgeries or hospitalizations 
Your physician or midwife will then do a complete a physical exam. Including: 
An exam of your breasts 
An exam of your uterus to make sure it is growing at the appropriate rate. 
A Pelvic Exam and Pap Smear if you are due to have one. 
A Vaginal Ultrasound to check the size of your baby. 
The physician or midwife will likely also counsel you on:  
What foods to eat and what foods to avoid 
Smoking or being around smokers 
Expected weight gain during your pregnancy 
Some of the common symptoms of pregnancy and how you can ease those symptoms. This includes heartburn, morning sickness, constipation, breast tenderness and so forth. 
Exercise. 
Domestic Violence or other types of abuse 
Flu and tetanus, Pertussis and Diphtheria vaccinations. 
Avoiding Cat feces and washing your hands thoroughly after coming in contact with cats.

I think make a list. I had so many questions, but when there was so overwhelmed that I forgot to actually ask most of them. I would ask what they recommend exercise and food wise etc. If you should take vitamins. Things like that.

Mine was transvaginal...also maybe ask what it is you’re seeing? Because I had no idea haha

It will probably be abdominal unless they have trouble  finding it. Ask what the heart rate is :)
