Is this my birth control?

So I just recently started nexplanon about a month ago and two weeks ago I had my period and I stopped bleeding heavily the first four days and ever since then I’ve been spotting for 10 and I’ve been lightheaded and having cramps is this normal?

Yes, completely normal. Progestin only methods like Nexplanon are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. Other side effects are also normal at any given time. And, this is all especially common during the first 6 months while ur body is adjusting to the birth control.
