My boyfriend & I were discussing who would be bridesmaids & groomsmen in our future wedding. He has two friends that he was extremely close to growing up. However, I don’t want one of the two in the wedding party for several reasons. 1). He moved away without telling my boyfriend. 2). He never replies to my boyfriend’s texts or calls, or cares to visit when he comes to town. 3). He overall isn’t a good guy. 4). He starts unnecessary problems.

Is it rude if I tell my boyfriend that I would rather him not be in our wedding? I can see the real colors in people & even though they were good friends growing up, I know he’s not a true friend to my boyfriend.
