10 week ultrasound

J

Had my first ultrasound this morning... everything is fine, and I’m happy about that of course, but the experience was really disappointing. With my son in 2016, the ultrasound happened in office, we got to watch him for probably 5-7 minutes, listen to his heartbeat and the tech showed us all his little parts. This time we were sent to outpatient imaging, we got to see the baby for under one minute, and the heartbeat was pointed out visually but we weren’t given an opportunity to listen. Overall it was just really not what I expected and I left disappointed. Anyone else have an experience like this? Should I be calling to complain? Is this normal now?
