When do they do abdominal ultrasounds

So I have a transvaginal at 6 weeks and at 8 weeks just wondering at how many weeks do they do abdominal, everytime I have a transvaginal the whole day after it's hurts inside.

My doctor did my abdominal starting at 10 weeks

The first time I had an abdominal was 12 weeks and it was way more uncomfortable than the transvaginal because you have to have a full bladder so they are just pressing on your bladder area while you have to pee really bad.

my doctor only does 2 ultrasounds one at 8 weeks which was vaginal and one at 20 weeks which was abdominal. If you go to any outside ultrasound places they will do abdominal, i did that for an early gender screening and that was at 14 weeks.
