I was talking to an acquaintance about my baby & she asked me about whether I was breastfeeding or not. I said I was & she said “if you said you were formula feeding I was gonna tell you not to worry about what other people say because they didn’t push your baby out of THEIR vagina” I know she meant well but I just awkwardly explained that neither did I because I had a c section. This isn’t the first time someone’s said something along those lines & it makes me feel uncomfortable every single time. I’m growing to really hate that phrase.
