38 weeks and 5 days here.

Got checked on 9/5, was 2 cm and 70% effaced.

Got checked again today, 3cm and 100%.

Doctor looks at me and says this is your third baby, why are you still pregnant!?

Didn’t even know what to say.

So he says come back in 2 days, 9/12, and we’re going to strip your membranes. If you’ve improved on the the 3cm I’ll go ahead and break your water if you want.

So surreal!!

My two previous pregnancies were both born earlier, 37 and 3 days, and 38 and 2 days. Water was broken at hospital with both at 6cm and 7cm. Labored less than six hours with both.

So it looks like either way, baby boy will be here by this weekend 😱 maybe even a Friday the 13th baby! 😍
